CARNIVAL EXPLOSION IN 2 SISTER ISLES: ITINERARY IN DETAIL
Be greeted on arrival with fast service, to transportation with a cold drink and a damp cloth to cool you down
Spend an evening in famous Oisten’s Bay where you are completely immersed into the Bajan culture and food; followed by an introduction to Bajan vibes at a nearby night club
Once revived from the night’s activities you take in a tour of Barbados’ famous Harrison’s Cave where you experience the subterranean environment on a tramway
This will be incomplete without stopping on the way back at the Mount Gay Rum Factory, to explore the makings of this ‘essence on ice’, the oldest rum in the world as Bajans testify.
You will later be more than ready to be taken for the Lobster Alive dinner with Jazz and Steel pan.
Sunday – a day to maybe indulge in a little spa treatment and relaxation before heading out to the Atlantis Submarine Night Dive to view some of the beautiful coral reef of the Caribbean Sea up to 150 ft. down with spot lights as you sip on a cocktail peering at the fish through the port holes.
Wait! You came to experience Carnival in Barbados! It is Monday and you are refreshed and ready for the Jambalasse Band Foreday experience on the road with paint and vibes – you eat as you go!
Then with a quick change there is the full grand parade of Grand Kadooment from the National Stadium to Spring Garden, dancing in the streets in large elaborate costumes to the pulsating rhythms of calypso and soca.
But there is more if you can handle it. The After Party in the Gap
It is Tuesday and the festival is over and it is time for last lap on Sun Blast Cruise where you swim, snorkel relax, eat and drink … and release some of yesterday’s highs
Day before departure you are taken on a little shopping tour at Pelican Village not too far from the hotel.
Later you dine at the popular Harbour Lights Beach Extravaganza for an evening of Bajan BBQ free flowing drinks and a cultural spectacle show of yesteryear and crop over displays, climaxing with dancing to live bands.

Second leg of the Carnival Experience! Time for an Island Hop...
Receive a warm Grenadian welcome at the Maurice Bishop Int’l Airport with a cold drink and cool cloth.
Following a welcome cocktail at the hotel, and dinner, you are off to the National Carnival Queen Show
A well-earned free day with option to attend a Groovy Soca Monarch Final, the culmination of a series of competition seeing the best song and singer for this Caribbean genre of music.
Time for a little adventure tour – Grenada As You See It - to visit many prime attractions around the Island’s west coast stopping at the Nutmeg Cooperaton, Diamond Chocolate Factory, a cocoa estate, Grand Etang Lake and Annandale Waterfalls, eating lunch en route at a local restaurant
In the evening you have another option to attend a Carnival event, this time Panorama Steel Pan competition.
Sunday, and time to enjoy the Grenada Champagne & Seafood Cruse on a catamaran, where you have the option of diving amid the renowned underwater sculpture park as you drink champagne and eat seafood.
Early dinner at a local restaurant on your way to the Dimanche Gras where you will get a bird’s eye view of the entire carnival festivity: displays of 2018 band costumes including the kings and queens of each band, calypso and soca finalists among other entertainment.
Jouvert time! Monday morning Jab Jab Mas - a Grenada special only to be experienced
Pageant – beautiful display on stage of costumed sections from all of the bands
Monday Night T-shirt Mas where you a participate in a street jump up with party goers in brightly colored t-shirts waving fluorescent wands.
Tuesday’s Last Lap – a parade of all costumed and t-shirt bands in the street all day jumping and dancing to the rhythmic chords of Caribbean music.
Wednesday – all good things must come to an end, so you will be taken on a Grenada Island River Lime to wind down and prepare to go home.
